Vendor Selection Criteria

Tradeshow Sisters works hard to create a well-balanced mix of vendors at each event – including new faces and returning favourites. We strive to provide a unique shopping experience for our customers with a blend of crafters, makers, bakers, creators, photographers, small and direct sales businesses and more.

After the application deadline, each submission is carefully reviewed. There is a lot to consider. We evaluate each application based on:

  • Accuracy and completeness of the application
  • Vendor support in promoting the event (sharing posts, tagging @tradeshowsisters, and engaging with event content on social media – we provide lots of ready-to-share posts!)
  • Previous involvement in Tradeshow Sisters events (to keep our shows fresh for shoppers and to allow a fair opportunity for new applicants we like to include a mix of new and familiar exhibitors)
  • Vendor location (supporting local businesses, while also welcoming unique or standout products from outside the area).
  • Product or service offered (offering quality and uniqueness while providing a mix of popular staples and unique new items).
  • The number of applicants offering similar products (we only accept a limited number of each category of vendors).
  • Whether the vendor is emerging or established (we welcome businesses at all stages).
  • Boothmanship and professionalism.

All applicants and exhibitors are expected to promote themselves and Tradeshow Sisters events in a positive and professional manner.
